Mezzo-soprano Kindra Scharich and pianist George Fee are extremely committed to the cause of Lieder, one of the great treasures of classical music, and one of today's most neglected art forms.
They have performed numerous different recital programs. Some have featured the world's most beloved and best known Lieder, while others have traced the evolution of the Lied as a genre. In October, 2014, they presented a series of three concert/lectures, comprising 59 Lieder which illustrated the development of the Lied. |
